Our Inspiration
Salt and pepper diamonds taught us something early on at Rustic and Gold — that the most interesting stones deserve the most interesting shapes. Round cuts felt too familiar. Ovals felt too expected. We kept coming back to the kite shape because it matched the energy of these stones in a way nothing else did.

The Stone
The center stone is a kite-shaped salt and pepper diamond weighing 1.22 carats, measuring 10 x 7.5 x 2.6mm. It sits wide and flat on the finger with real presence — the kind of stone people notice without being told to look.
Inside the diamond is a natural matrix of black and white inclusions that formed over millions of years underground. Nobody designed that pattern. Nature did, entirely on its own. That matrix belongs to this stone alone, and you will never find another diamond with the same interior.
In morning light, the inclusions catch the light one way. In the evening, they shift. The stone keeps revealing something new, and that never gets old.
