The marquise cut has centuries behind it, and we have always loved what that history brings to a ring. There is a confidence to this shape — two pointed tips, a wide curved center, a silhouette that covers more ground on the finger than almost any other cut at the same carat weight. We paired it with a V-shape prong setting because that setting was made for this shape. 

The V prongs hold each pointed tip of the marquise exactly right. Securing the most vulnerable points of the stone while keeping the full face open and completely visible. Yellow gold was the natural choice here. The warmth of the metal against the bright white of an E-color diamond creates a contrast that feels rich, warm, and completely considered.
