Our Inspiration: Lozenge Diamond Ring

At Rustic and Gold we are always looking for shapes that carry something extra beyond just being beautiful. The lozenge cut does that. It takes the familiarity of a square stone and rotates it. Tilting the whole geometry so the corners point up, down and sideways rather than sitting flat and expected. 

That rotation changes everything about how the stone reads on the finger. More dynamic, more directional and genuinely more romantic than a standard square cut because it feels like the stone is moving even when it is completely still.

We set it in a bezel because the lozenge shape deserves a frame that holds its full outline cleanly. Four sides, four corners, the complete geometry of the stone wrapped in yellow gold and sitting low against the finger. No prongs interrupting the silhouette, but just the shape, exactly as it is.
