Where the Design Started
The starting point was movement. We wanted a ring that didn’t feel stiff on the hand. Traditional engagement rings often feel boxed in. This one doesn’t.
The by-pass style lets the band curve toward the stone instead of locking it into a fixed frame. It creates a soft, open space, almost like the ring is gently holding the diamond rather than trapping it.
That’s where the leaf shape comes through—not obvious, not literal, but just present.
The Diamond Choice
We used a salt and pepper diamond because uniform stones didn’t feel right for this design. This ring needed texture. Character. Something a little raw.
Salt and pepper diamonds show their inclusions. Some are darker. Some lighter. No two stones look exactly the same, and that’s the point.
The marquise cut helps reinforce the leaf idea. It’s elongated, organic, and sits naturally along the curve of the band.

The Band & Metal Work
We make this ring in 14K gold. You can choose yellow, white, or rose gold depending on what feels most like you.
The band is intentionally slim, around 1.3 mm. We didn’t want it to be bulky. We wanted it to feel light on the finger, something you forget you’re wearing until you look down and notice it again.
The finish is smooth, not aggressively shiny. Over time, it develops a natural wear pattern, which suits the design.
Because this is a bypass ring, the band doesn’t meet in a traditional way. It curves and opens, and also it feels a little less formal—and that’s exactly why people choose it.
