Our vintage hexagon black diamond ring came together from a mix of old-inspired details and modern structure. The moment we paired the bold black hexagon stone with the softer brilliance of the surrounding diamonds, we knew we didn’t want to overdo anything else.

It already had enough personality on its own.

There’s something about the contrast in this ring that makes it stand out quietly. The dark center feels bold and mysterious, while the smaller diamonds around it add just enough light to balance everything beautifully.

Our Inspiration Behind This Vintage Black Diamond Ring

At Rustic and Gold, we’ve always loved jewelry that feels personal instead of overly polished.

The hexagon diamond ring shape played a huge role in that feeling. Most engagement rings stay soft and rounded, but the hexagon structure gives this one a sharper, more modern edge while still keeping that vintage charm alive.

We wanted the design to feel elegant without looking too perfect. That slight contrast between structure and softness is what makes this piece feel so balanced.

This is probably one of our favorite parts of the ring.

Around the center stone, we added smaller round brilliant cut diamonds weighing approximately 0.28 CT total. These tiny details completely shift the feel of the design.

We kept the band delicate because the center already carries enough presence.

• Crafted in 14k rose gold ring form

• Also customizable in yellow or white gold

• Around 1.5 mm thickness

• Smooth, polished finish for a clean, premium feel

• Half-moon inspired detailing adds a softer vintage touch

The warmth of rose gold against the black diamond creates such a rich combination. It feels romantic without becoming overly feminine, which is something we really wanted to maintain.
